The Women’s Listening Event is delighted to be collaborating with Dr Karambu Ringera of International Peace Initiatives (IPI) to run its 2nd WLE as part of the 2012 celebrations of International Women’s Day (March 8th) in Meru, Kenya.
The programme so far includes:
7th March WLE
8th March International Women’s Day celebrations including a Bridge Event
9th & 10th March IPI’s 3rd Women’s International Grassroots Peace Congress
Dr Karambu Ringera is Founder and President of IPI. She was a participant at WLE 2011.
I am so excited to be part of this awesome event!! There is nothing as important as women listening to each other and encouraging each other to move towards attaining their highest dreams!! I am so glad to be part of remembering that March 8 is a day to celebrate women and their work. We are reminded to love who we are and to value the work we do!! Without us, half of the world’s population, the mothers and nurturers of this earth and its inhabitants, there would be no life!! But God is gracious – we have women to partner with God to make the world a better place because of our beauty, love, compassion and laughter!! I am so blessed to be a woman!!!
